At approximately 2:00 pm on 04-10-2012, witnesses reported that 23-year-old Octavius Moultrie was outside a residence on Fawnwood Lane in Seabrook, when two unknown African-American men exited a sport utility vehicle (SUV) and began shooting at him.
Moultrie attempted to run from the subjects, but they continued to fire, wounding him several times. Immediately following the shooting, the two subjects left the area in the SUV.
Moultrie died as a result of the gunshot wounds. Possible persons of interest were developed during the investigation, but evidence has yet to support formal criminal charges.
The suspects fled the area in a white SUV and Moultrie was found a short time later in the woods suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.Persons of interest were identified during the investigation, but charges have yet to be made.
