The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office offers several ways for the public to report crime or suspicious activity, share critical information with investigators or discuss general safety concerns.

  • Call 843-255-3300 for concerns in Southern Beaufort County (Bluffton, Okatie or on Hilton Head Island).
  • Call 843-255-3200 for concerns in Northern Beaufort County (Beaufort, Burton, St. Helena Island, Dale, Sheldon and other areas north of the Broad River).

There are three ways to report anonymously on criminal or suspicious activity or share critical information with our investigators:
  • Click here to submit your information through our website. Select the option to remain anonymous and you will not be asked for your name.
  • Share your information anonymously and securely through Crime Stoppers of the Lowcountry by clicking here.
  • Call Crime Stoppers of the Lowcountry at 843-554-1111 and provide information anonymously to a Crime Stoppers staff member.
