The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office encourages residents and visitors to download the Everbridge app and sign up to receive Beaufort County emergency alerts directly on their mobile devices.
Everbridge allows the Sheriff’s Office and other public safety officials to quickly share important, time-sensitive information that may affect you, your family or your community.
What Types of Alerts Will I Receive?
Depending on the situation, Everbridge notifications may include:
- Severe weather and emergency notifications
- Hurricane and tropical weather updates
- Evacuation information
- Traffic advisories and major road closures
- Public safety alerts
- Other time-sensitive emergency information

The Everbridge app is free and available through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
After downloading the app, search for and subscribe to Beaufort County alerts. Be sure to enable notifications on your device so you don’t miss important information when it matters most.
