Over the past several months, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office has been in the process of redesigning its website. The new site was launched Friday evening and will continue to be rolled out through the following week.
Our new website introduces several features that aim to better inform the community on a variety of public safety topics:
- A Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Newsroom to keep Beaufort County residents and guests informed on events impacting public safety and to serve as the primary source of information during major events.
- A Data and Statistics page that will include information such as calls for service, traffic citations and warnings and other information the public may find valuable
- A Storm Center to keep the public up-to-date on severe weather events, namely hurricanes.
- An easy-to-navigate format for residents and guests to learn more about the services provided by the Sheriff’s Office, crime prevention, scam awareness and community programs.
As we continued to build our new website and add new features, we will keep you posted through the site, as well as the Sheriff’s Office Nixle advisory services, Facebook, Twitter and Nextdoor.
