Citizens Police Academy
Registration for the Spring 2025 Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office
Citizens Police Academy (CPA) is now open – space is limited.
Citizens Police Academy, or CPA, gives Beaufort County residents insight into the many services the Sheriff’s Office provides.
During the program, Sheriff’s Office personnel offer overviews of our interesting and diverse services, including patrol operations, emergency management, criminal and cold case investigations, SWAT and forensic sciences.
CPA participants will take a field trip during the course for demonstrations by our SWAT Team and K-9 Unit, and to see a static display of special operations equipment.
In addition, and under the supervision of our highly trained firearms instructors, participants will have the opportunity to use our Firearms Training Simulator.
