Just after 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, a Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Lemon Island.
During the stop, a male subject exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
Deputies and K-9 units searched for the subject and apprehended him at about 12:55 p.m.
The subject is facing criminal charges.
