The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at a gas station on St. Helena Island.
At about 10:08 p.m., deputies responded to a shots fired call at Parker’s gas station located at 856 Sea Island Parkway on St. Helena Island.
Once on scene, no suspect or victim was located; however, a short time later deputies responded to Beaufort Memorial Hospital in reference to a gunshot victim.
The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.
This incident is under investigation.
