Beaufort County will host its first ever multi-agency law enforcement recruiting event in August. It’s an effort to ensure all county agencies with open positions can recruit quality candidates interested in the law enforcement profession.
Participating Agencies:
- Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office
- Beaufort Police Department
- Port Royal Police Department
- Yemassee Police Department
- Bluffton Police Department
The recruiting event will be held August 13, 2022, from 8 a.m. until noon, at the Bluffton Police Department located at 101 Progressive Street, Bluffton SC.
Those interested in participating will have the opportunity to speak with participating agencies, complete the physical agility course, as well as a written test. Participants are asked to wear athletic attire for the physical agility course. Participants are asked to bring a photo ID to the event.
