Captain William Angelo

Joined the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office in 1998.
Originally from New Jersey.

Captain William Angelo is the Headquarters Captain for the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. In this role, he supervises the Recruiting/Staffing Section, Training and Crime Prevention programs and the Supply Manager.

Between 2001 and 2003, Captain Angelo served with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. At the Sheriff’s Office, he was first assigned as a patrol deputy in both the Northern and Southern Patrol sections. 

When he reached the rank of Sergeant, he was transferred to the Training Section, where he was promoted through the ranks to Lieutenant/Training Supervisor. He held that position for five years when he was commissioned as a Captain and assumed his current role. Captain Angelo holds several instructor certifications.
