Staff Sergeant Hope Day serves as Logistics Officer for the Emergency Management Division at Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. When the Emergency Operations Center is fully activated in the event of a major storm or other hazardous situation, Staff Sergeant Day assumes responsibility as Beaufort County Logistics Chief.
Staff Sergeant Day began her career in law enforcement in West Columbia, SC as a patrol officer in 2002. She also held the positions of patrol supervisor and detective before relocating to Beaufort County and joining the Beaufort Police Department. Staff Sergeant Day spent twelve years with Beaufort City PD working on patrol, as a public information officer and supervisor for school resource officers within the city. In 2018, Staff Sergeant Day joined the Sheriff’s Office.
