Registration is open for Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training Program. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training program provides training to Beaufort County residents to increase self-sufficiency in a disaster. Participants learn skills that will enable them to provide emergency assistance to their families and neighbors.
CERT classes are offered free of charge and are held at various times throughout the year.
Spring 2023 classes will be held at the Sheriff’s Office law enforcement center located at 2001 Duke Street in Beaufort.
Registration is required due to limited seating.
The course is taught in four class sessions: Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., culminating with a Saturday exercise from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• March 28 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
• March 30 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
• April 4 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
• April 6 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
• April 8 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
