At approximately 4:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, a male subject fled from Sheriff’s Office deputies serving a court order on Lake Linden Dr., Bluffton.
The subject was described as Caucasian, 5′ 08″ tall, approximately 160 pounds, with brown hair, wearing a gray tank top and khaki shorts.
The subject was armed with a knife when he fled.
Sheriff’s Office deputies, K-9s and the Aviation Unit (helicopter) searched the area of Lake Linden and Burnt Church Rd. for the subject; he was not located.
There will be increased patrols near Lake Linden overnight, as deputies continue to look for the subject.
It is not known if he is still armed. Anyone who comes into contact with the subject is urged to contact Sheriff’s Office Emergency Dispatch at 9-1-1.
