On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., Sheriff P.J. Tanner and staff are holding a community meeting in the auditorium of Battery Creek High School to discuss recent gun violence in the Burton area.
Anyone who has concerns or questions about gun violence and how they can help make our community safer is encouraged to attend.
Discussion topics will include:
- Reporting criminal activity anonymously through the Crime Stoppers of the Lowcountry tip line
- Building partnerships and improving communication with the community
