In the early morning hours on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, Sheriff’s Office investigators served a search warrant for illegal drugs at a Broad River Blvd. residence near the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 170, in Burton.
Residents and motorists in that area can expect an increased law enforcement presence over the next several hours.
There is no public safety threat.
