At approximately 7:45 p.m. July 10, 2021, Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Hilton Head Hospital to a report of stabbing victim.
When deputies met with the male victim, they learned that he was stabbed by a male subject at around 7:20 p.m. inside the Circle K convenience store, Lagoon Road, Hilton Head Island.
Deputies also learned that the subject left the scene in a brown Cadillac following the stabbing.
A short time later, in a parking lot close to the Circle K, deputies located the Cadillac with the subject lying down inside.
Deputies detained the subject — who is a juvenile — and are interviewing him.
Residents and motorists near Lagoon Road can expect to see an increased law enforcement presence over the next few hours.
As of the time of this advisory, the victim was still receiving treatment for multiple stab wounds.
