On Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, following a months-long investigation into sales of illegal drugs on St. Helena Island, Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested 48-year-old Andrew Graham on multiple drug and firearm charges.
Case History
Over the past few months, Sheriff’s Office investigators followed up on information that 48-year-old Andrew Graham of St. Helena Island was selling illegal drugs.
During their inquiry, investigators established probable cause to obtain warrants for Graham’s arrest for Sale and Distribution of a Schedule II Narcotic and to search his Dugout Ln., St. Helena home for illegal drugs.
Graham’s Arrest
On Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, investigators conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Graham and took him into custody on the previously obtained arrest warrant.
Following his arrest, investigators served the search warrant at Graham’s home.
Illegal Drugs/Firearm Seized
Inside Graham’s home, investigators located and seized substantial amounts of cocaine, crack cocaine, a schedule II narcotic and marijuana, as well as a handgun.
Additional Criminal Charges on Graham
For the illegal drugs and the handgun found in his home, Graham was charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Trafficking Crack Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Narcotic, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm by a Violent Felon and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime.
Graham was taken to the Beaufort County Detention Center and incarcerated; he has yet to receive a bond hearing for the seven charges.
