The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred overnight in different parts of the county.
On Monday, October 20, 2025, shortly before 11 p.m., the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received numerous calls reporting gunfire at the Vista View apartment complex on Haigler Boulevard in Bluffton. When deputies arrived, they located property damage consistent with gunfire. No injuries have been reported in connection with this incident.
On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, shortly before 4 a.m., deputies responded to another report of shots fired, this time from Shiney Road on St. Helena Island. While responding, deputies learned of a gunshot victim who was en route to the hospital. The victim, a 19-year-old male, is in stable condition with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Three other individuals were inside the home at the time of the shooting and were not injured.
Both investigations remain active.
